On 26th March two bishops took part in a Division on an amendment to the Government’s Defence Reform Bill, during its Report Stage in the House of Lords.
Lord Rosser (Labour) moved amendment 8, after clause 48, to insert the new clause Annual report to Parliament on Army’s fighting power.
The House divided: Contents: 179 | Not Contents: 281 | Result: Government Win
The Bishops of Chester and Lichfield voted Not Content.
