On 14th July 2021, the House of Lords voted on the Business and Planning Act 2020 (Pavement Licences) (Coronavirus) (Amendment) Regulations 2021. A Bishop took part in the vote:

The Bishop of St Albans took part in a vote on an amendment to the regulations tabled by Lord Faulkner of Worcester:
“to insert “but that this House regrets that the Regulations were not revised to take account of the evidence of the benefits of 100 per cent smoke-free pavement licences, which have been implemented over the last year in a diverse range of local authorities and which have received strong public support”.”
