On 20th June 2023, the House of Lords debated the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill. Votes were held on amendments to the bill, in which Bishops took part:

The Bishop of Sheffield, the Bishop of St Albans, and the Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich took part in a vote on an amendment tabled by Lord Krebs to insert a new clause into the bill ensuring environmental protections are upheld.

The Bishop of Sheffield, the Bishop of St Albans, and the Bishop of St Edmundsbury & Ipswich voted in favour of an amendment tabled by Lord Hope of Craighead to insert new clause into the bill that would ensure parliamentary oversight and scrutiny of future changes to retained EU Law.
