Bishop of St Albans asks about support for global health iniatives

The Bishop of St Albans received the following written answers on 2nd September 2024:

The Lord Bishop of St Albans asked His Majesty’s Government what plans they have for the upcoming replenishments of major global health multilaterals, including Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance.

Lord Collins of Highbury (Lab, FCDO): The UK is working with the international community to coordinate efforts and ensure sustainable resources for all upcoming global health replenishments. This includes GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Effective coordination across Global Health Initiatives will be needed to deliver for the global health challenges ahead.
