On 28th January 2025, the House of Lords debated the Data (Use and Access) Bill at the report stage. A vote was held on amendments to the bill, in which a Bishop took part:

The Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich took part in a vote on an amendment to the bill tabled by Baroness Kidron which “would require the ICO to report on its enforcement record.”
The amendment was agreed.
