Divisions: Housing and Planning Bill

On 25th April 2016 a number of votes took place on amendments to the Government’s Housing and Planning Bill at its Report Stage in the House of Lords. The Bishop of Leeds, Rt Revd Nick Baines, took part in three of the Divisions of the House:

Baroness Parminter moved amendment 118, after clause 143, to insert the new clause Carbon compliance standard for new homes. The House divided:

Baroness Royall of Blaisdon moved amendment 119, after clause 143, to insert the new clause Affordable housing contributions in small scale development. The House divided:

The Bishop of Leeds voted Content and also spoke in support of the amendment.


Baroness Parminter moved amendment 119A, after clause 143, to insert the new clause Sustainable drainage systems. The House divided:

Contents: 253 | Not Contents: 188 | Result: Government Defeat

The Bishop of Leeds voted Content.
