On 27th March 2017, two votes took place on a Statutory Instrument introducing changes to the regulations governing Personal Independence Payments. The Bishop of Winchester took part in both divisions.

Liberal Democrat Peer Baroness Bakewell of Hardington Mandeville moved a motion to annul the regulations.

Labour Peer Baroness Sherlock moved a motion to regret the regulations and require a review of their operation.
