On 21st November 2018 the House of Lords considered amendments to the Mental Capacity (Amendment) Bill [HL]. Two bishops took part in a vote on an amendment from Baroness Barker:

Baroness Barker moved amendment 27, in Schedule 1, page 10, line 8, after “necessary” to insert “to prevent harm to the cared-for person”.
The House divided:
Contents: 202 | Not Contents: 188 | Result: Government Defeat
The Bishop of Oxford voted Content; the Bishop of Chester voted Not Content.
